The Scheduling Institute Uses Telescoping Slider Mailer to Make an Impact
So often we hear of marketing pieces aimed at promoting products and brand messaging to an external audience. But what happens when a company takes those same marketing principles and, instead of using them to sell things to the outside world, begins applying them within their industry?
That’s what The Scheduling Institute did.
The company, which trains dentists and their staff members on how to care for their patients and build their practices, was looking for an impactful way to show the dentists how much potential their hygienists have. “The purpose of this piece is for dentists to realize that their hygienists could be producing a lot more than they are now,” said Rachel Paul, RDH, the clinical communications specialist for The Scheduling Institute, via email. “The idea is that they have more potential, and coaching can help them develop that potential.” So, after seeing another piece a colleague had created through Red Paper Plane, she too decided to try it out.
“I chose Red Paper Plane because I like to use mailers that are ‘outside of the box’ and not the same old postcard,” she said. “I had a great experience using the website and the customer service is wonderful! I always received a quick response with any emails or questions.”
The team chose to use the Telescoping Slider template. Because of its multiple panels, this is a great format to show a step-by-step process or to walk recipients of the piece through your business’ messaging in an organized and concise way.
According to Rachel, the piece turned out so well that some of the recipients even reached out and asked which vendor she used.
“The objective of this piece was to ascend clients into our clinical trainings to coach their hygiene team,” she said. “I believe that the idea that this piece, itself, was ‘outside of the box’ allowed the client to think more ‘outside of the box’. The results were better than expected!”
