The old adage goes something like this: You only have one chance to make a first impression.
So, when it comes to your business’ direct mail marketing, the package should be just as captivating as the service or product, itself.
Amelia Stasky, sales and marketing coordinator at Dion Label Printing, along with her team, were looking for a unique vessel to hold samples displaying the company’s printing capabilities. They eventually decided Red Paper Plane’s Well Box design fit the bill.
“This promotional piece was used to send samples of our label printing capabilities along with a small holiday giveaway to companies that we felt would benefit from additional visual information,” she said. “The focus is on limited edition packaging and the well box design is reflective of that.”
Citing its prices, lead time and customer service, Amelia said she and her team had a great experience with Red Paper Plane throughout the entire design and proofing process.
“In the beginning, we requested samples of both the available well boxes,” she said. “They arrived in a reasonable amount of time and gave us a better visual which assisted in the design preparation."
Initially, the box was designed with a wood grain look. The goal, Amelia said, was to create a warm, holiday feeling without being overdone.
The final verdict?
“We love the result!” she said. “The color is consistent throughout all pieces and the artwork doesn’t appear to have lost resolution.”
