Healthcare Tech Company Seeks to Engage the Brain and Body Through Their Marketing

Who: Trazer

Their Industry: Healthcare

Their Audience: Executives at several physical therapy sites

Their Challenge: To announce the rebrand of a large corporate client.

Our Solution: 4.25” Pop Up Pen Holder

The Main Pro: It literally pops into shape and has the staying power to sit on the recipient’s desk for weeks and months or longer.

When Scott Curry, founder of the agency Cognition Media, was tasked with helping his client, Trazer, rebrand, he knew direct mail was the way to go.

“Trazer had brought on a really big corporate client and they wanted to expand, starting with five physical therapy sites,” he said. “I said, ‘What we should really do is create a welcome onboarding activation kit for each of these sites’ and in that, I wanted to have things like window decals, tumblers, notebooks and a pen holder.”

Because Trazer works to engage the brain and body, Curry wanted to create a marketing piece that would do the same. An interactive print solution seemed like a perfect way to do that, while still offering enough space to include relevant branding and messaging for the new sites. They ended up choosing the 4.25” Pen Holder design, which ships flat and pops into action once it’s opened.

“The pen holder has been a really big hit,” Curry said. “Some of the other stuff we do is obviously cool, but our pen holder is definitely going to stay on the desk. It’s a great brand awareness tool.”
