Their industry: Branded graphic design

Their audience: All sorts of brands ranging from magazines to environmentalist organizations

Their challenge: As part of a marketing campaign targeting prospects who run conferences, they wanted to prelude a personal phone call/email with a direct mail primer.

In other words, this mailer was the first point of contact. It needed to grab attention in a positive and lasting way.

Our solution: The Small Exploding Page - a brochure that initially appears to be conventional until it folds out, “exploding” to twice its original size.

The main pro: Its visually stimulating surprise factor. It gives your message an added pop that both literally and figuratively makes it stand out.

For the Dever team, this design was perfect for complementing their “Countdown to Your Conference” spaceship theme. The exploding feature even took their “Blast Off” graphics to a whole new level.

This wasn’t the first project that Dever Designs came to us with, and according to their rep Kay Rosburg, it likely won’t be the last: “So far, we have made a positive impression on prospects. The piece definitely stands out and they remember it."
