INSP Stands Out in a Crowded Space
What happens when you need to make a pitch in a crowded industry? As a marketer, you need to create a piece that stands apart from the masses.
INSP knows this story well. The company wanted to showcase a new original television series and promote the return of two other original series, but the television industry is a very crowded space. “With over 400 networks competing for the attention of this very valuable 300 people, we wanted a direct mail piece that would deliver,” said Christine Rodocker, vice president of distribution and consumer marketing, said via email.
“This was a very important mailer for our company and there was a lot of pressure around getting it right and done on time. We were tight on our deadline and [Red Paper Plane] was excellent at turning things around quickly, without the need for edits, and finding out-of-the-box ways to get us proofs along the way. Working with Red Paper Plane was an excellent experience. We were in really good hands.”
Christine, who said her company had ordered sample packs from Red Paper Plane, saw a version of the piece her team was looking to create in the last pack. They immediately started to ideate on how they could make the piece their own. “The piece turned out so well!,” she said. “Our sales team, clients and senior management all raved about the piece. This project exceeded expectations and I look forward to entering this piece for awards within various industry competitions.”
In addition to a direct mail piece for clients, Christine said they have tweaked some language and created a new version to be used at consumer events. “This is a great way for consumers to get to know our network quickly,” she said. “It's also such a fun piece that it's hard to throw it out, we've found people hanging on to it. This piece not only met but exceeded expectations. I look forward to working with Red Paper Plane in the future.”
